Membership
Eligibility
Torch & Laurel membership is available by invitation, or you can choose to nominate yourself for membership if you qualify.
- If you received an invitation to join with an invitation code, our records indicate you are pre-qualified and that you meet the membership criteria.
- If a student is interested in the advantages of membership, but did not receive an invitation, there is a process for self-nomination where the student submits proof of eligibility.
High school students who meet one of the following requirements are eligible to join The Society of Torch & Laurel:
- SAT score of 1300+
- ACT score of 27+ or
- Minimum GPA of 3.5+
Cost
Torch & Laurel offers three different membership tiers. We charge a nominal membership fee that helps cover the costs of running the organization, including providing scholarships, programs, and administration. The three tiers are:
- Basic membership costs $29
- Regular membership costs $79
- Premium membership costs $149

Benefits
We offer a variety of benefits with three different tiers of membership. You can compare the benefits across the three tiers and pick the one that is right for you. The Basic membership will be the right choice for most people and offers a broad option of benefits.

How to join?
Click the Join button to get started. If you received an invitation code, select the “I received an invitation code” join option. Otherwise, if you would like to nominate yourself for membership, select the “I would like to nominate myself” option. You’ll then be asked for your information, to select your membership type, and make your payment. You may be asked to supply proof of eligibility as part of your membership application. Once your membership is confirmed, you will receive a series of emails welcoming you as our newest member.
Membership Assistance Scholarship
If you are unable to pay the $29 membership fee due to financial hardship, we offer scholarships to ensure that no person is denied access to these life-changing benefits. To request a scholarship for your membership, please email us at info@torchandlaurel.org. We do our best to support as many applicants as possible.
