What is The Society of Torch & Laurel?

The Society of Torch & Laurel is a selective honor society for high-achieving high school students, developed by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). As a recognized national scholar high school society, Torch & Laurel honors academic excellence and provides exclusive support to help students prepare for college and beyond.

Members gain access to Torch scholarships, expert college prep tools, and a private network of driven students. This is more than recognition.

It is a real head start.

Eligibility Criteria

High school students are eligible when they meet one of the following criteria:
3.5+ GPA

A MINIMUM GPA OF 3.5 or

27+ ACT

A MINIMUM ACT SCORE OF 27 or

1300+ SAT

A MINIMUM SAT SCORE OF 1300

The Society of Torch & Laurel is committed to supporting high school high achievers as they shoot for the stars. To support this priority, we award a variety of scholarships and financial resources annually for college and various career exploration opportunities.
